Job Warehouse Operative (Manager-Level Responsibilities), Sheffield

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

• Stock Management:
  • Book in deliveries accurately and promptly.
  • Organise and maintain stock levels to ensure optimal workflow.
• Order Processing:
  • Pick and prepare customer orders with precision.
  • Vend products to customers, ensuring excellent service and professionalism.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Provide face-to-face support and assistance to customers within the warehouse.
• Operational Duties:
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards.

• Self-Motivated & Trustworthy: Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Organised & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to accuracy in stock handling and order processing.
• IT Literacy: Competent in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual handling and standing for extended periods.
• Customer Service Skills: Professional and approachable in face-to-face interactions.
• Reliability: Commitment to excellent attendance and punctuality.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stock control environment.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and order management software.
